P.J. is the Guest of a NASCAR Busch Team

Jay Robinson Racing and their NASCAR Busch team hosted P.J. Abbott at the recent NASCAR weekend in Phoenix. P.J. was the guest of owner Jay Robinson’s team #39 and #49. Drivers Blake Mallory and Tammy Joe Kirk showed P.J. "the ropes" of NASCAR Busch driving. No matter the amount of fun Abbott had, he still believes that, "there is nothing like open wheel racing; and our speeds are faster. But any kind of racing is just a lot of fun; and the people are really great." P.J. took the opportunity to invite potential sponsors including the staff from Pro-Tech. P.J. rarely has fun without including a sponsor or potential sponsor somewhere! "P.J. and the TTS TEAM do an incredible job for their sponsors and supporters, and we are excited to be a part of that." - Al Mallory, former driver and father of Blake Mallory.

Derrick Daly Formula Academy Welcomes P.J. Abbott

From October 7-10, P.J. had the opportunity to drive in the Derrick Daly Formula Academy. Abbott takes the every opportunity to fine tune his superior racing skills. While there, he had the good fortune of meeting Derrick personally. P.J. has a great respect and admiration for individuals such as Derrick, who have set examples in character and professionalism as well as driving skill. In an emotional and excited moment, P.J. was quoted as saying; "How can it get any better, what a great experience with Derrick, the participants from Sam’s team, and the wonderful environment of Las Vegas Motor Speedway."

P.J. attends Philanthropy International Magazine Gala

On November 7, 2003, Philanthropy International Magazine hosted its annual annual Hall of Fame Gala. Those in attendance included: former San Antonio Spurs Allstar and world champion, David Robinson; The Minyard Family; former sports announcer Scott Murray; The Rodriguez Family (Mi Cocina’s and Chop House); The Huffington Family: P.J. Abbott and others. It is the practice of Philanthropy International Magazine to encourage and highlight charities which contribute much and otherwise have little recognition. P.J. was invited because of his work with the Angel Bus.

Abbott leads by example and has consequently created a racing organization of notable charitable involvement. His driving coach, T.J. Kroehle, practices Life Planning for Families of Special Needs for Touch Life Charities. Even Abbott’s web-designers, Whiteclaw Productions, got caught up in P.J.’s charitable involvements. They contributed the web-site to Touch Life Charities Corporation without solicitation, having never been involved with a charity before. His motor coach company provides transports for Angel Bus and T.L.C. Even P.J.’s pit crew converts to a band which will play at special events which assist these charitable interests. As anyone who knows P.J. Abbott quickly concludes, you cannot be around P.J. without wanting to do something for other people. It is extremely energizing and contagious.
